Because of their size, they can be intimidating. This presents a natural opportunity for people to overcome their fear and develop confidence in the presence of the horses
Because horse live in herds, they have learned all the things that make living with others work. Horses know how to live in community with others because they are herd animals. To survive in a herd they quickly learn: leadership, boundaries, teamwork & effective communication.
They are keenly aware of the emotional environment around them. Horses can sense the motives and emotions of those around them. They are always authentic and know when those around them are or are not being authentic.
Horses react as a mirror to those who are with them. They reflect back to people who they really are.
