Buckskin Quarter horse

This sweet, gentle, buckskin mare loves being in our program, loves her job, and people! She seems to laugh when we make mistakes. When she first came to the ranch she got spooked by many things, but with Jan’s loving care she’s become a very willing participant. But look out! She’s an escape artist!

We call this handsome, gentle, quarter horse “Mr. Unflappable.” He’s so calm. We’ve never seen him get spooked. But wait! Don’t think that means he’ll do what you say!  He came to the ranch with a heart-shaped brand on his shoulder – and he really does wear his heart on his shoulder!

Missouri Foxtrotter

This Missouri Fox Trotter has a sense of humor – he’s so funny! He brings a playful presence to the arena. You’ll see him thinking about things. Then he’ll pick up a prop and toss it around! A real love, and a very entertaining member of the team!

Draft Horse

This huge guy, we call him the “gentle giant,” has to see a reason why he has to go from here to there. He won’t budge unless the energy’s right — and program participants have to figure out what that means. For that reason alone he is a big gift to our leadership training program!
